AANO works to preserve and promote Amazigh culture, language, and heritage while empowering our community and building bridges with the broader American society through cultural celebrations, educational workshops, youth and family programs, immigrant support, and community gatherings.
Amazigh Culture & Yennayer
AANO preserves and promotes Amazigh culture, heritage, and identity through Yennayer celebrations, cultural events, film, arts, lectures, and community gatherings. Our programs bring generations together while introducing Amazigh heritage to the broader Massachusetts community.
Amazigh Language & Education
We provide Amazigh language and cultural learning opportunities for children, families, and beginners. Our educational programs help younger generations maintain a meaningful connection to Tamazight, Amazigh history, and their cultural heritage.
Immigrant & Newcomer Support
AANO supports Amazigh and North African immigrants and newcomers through résumé and employment assistance, digital access, information and referrals, and connections to community resources and opportunities.
Youth, Families & Community
We create programs that bring youth, parents, and families together, strengthen community connections, reduce isolation, and encourage participation in community life while helping younger generations maintain their cultural identity.
Helping Us Fulfil Our Mission
The Amazigh American Network Organization wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good. We are a voluntary organization with no funding and we rely on generous donations from supporters to keep our work going.
